Ciao to Festival Italiano. Clean up operations were underway today at the Saugatuck site of Festival Italiano which ended Sunday night. According to a Westport Sons of Italy official, the turnout for the 25th edition of the annual festival was very large this year partly due to the warm weather on each of the four days. One of the highlights of the festival was the Sunday night appearance of the popular entertainment group, Johnny Maestro and the Brooklyn Bridge which resulted in a standing-room-only audience.
